One of her early introductions into the fashion business world was working in the fashion fabrics buying office of the UK’s leading department store, John Lewis PLC.
Prior to breaking into the luxury fashion business world, Yolande worked for Somethin-Else, the UK’s biggest independent radio and television production company, and then as a freelance fashion and business writer for various publications including New African Woman (distributed in 54 countries) and Fashion Capital, the UK’s leading fashion business portal.
Yolande loves giving back and inspiring others and has regularly led various workshops and talks at a range of academic institutions via programmes such as the ‘Aces Youth Project‘ and ‘Inspirational You‘.
